Help Page – 7. Create a Report


7         CREATE A REPORT

 

Multiple Report Templates are available for users to complete.  Different report templates are available for different project roles (ie, Design Professional, Contractor, Testing Firm, etc.).  Each company will only have access to the report templates that apply to their specific company role.

 

7.1       Create a New Report

 

  • Select an Active Project.
  • Select the “Create Report” tab on the Project Tool Bar.
  • Select a report template.
  • Complete the report by using a combination of text boxes, dropdown boxes, or specialty widget inputs.
  • Select the “Save” button at the bottom of the report to save changes.

 

7.2       Import Plan Images into a Report

 

Some report templates provide the ability to import a plan image into the report.  Only plan images previously uploaded into the Shared Documents/Plan Image section of iReport360 are available to import.  (If the plan image you need has not been uploaded in the Shared Documents please follow the instructions for “Plan Images”).

  • Select an Active Project.
  • Select the “Create Report” tab on the Project Tool Bar.
  • Select a report template.
  • Under the Plan Image section of the report template, choose “Select an Image” button.
  • Select a Plan Image from the list of available images.
  • The selected plan image will appear in a window labeled “Edit the Image” and a drawing tool is available to sketch on the image.  After you are satisfied with the plan image, select “Save” at the bottom of the page and the image will be imported into the report.

A drawing tool is also available to sketch on the plan image.

 

7.3       Import Specification Images into a Report

 

Some report templates provide the ability to import a specification image into the report.

Use the same general procedure for importing Plan Images into a report as described above.
